And all through our house, everything was quiet, not a thing was wrapped, and the only presents were those that arrived via UPS, FedEx, and the good ol’ postman.
This year, my husband and I decided to forgo buying gifts for one another, or even asking for items from those in our family. Instead, we asked for all gifts to come for Dylan, our son who we won’t even meet for another couple of months. We went a bit overboard on our registry and directed people there for inspiration.
Are any other expectant couples out there foregoing their Christmas tradition of asking for gifts for themselves in lieu of all things Fisher-Price, Graco, or infant-proof?
In our opinion, having a healthy boy baking is our present – anything else is just purely ‘stuff’.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
